Meghan Markle's Two Weddings

Posted by The Wish Pearl on 2018 Jul 25th

With one wedding scheduled for March 28 and another for May 19, has anyone considered the
nervousness and the pressure Meghan Markle must feel on just these facts alone? How many
of you have had less than two months between your second and third weddings?

Look, we all know that one is real and the other is not, but some have taken Meghan’s former
show, Suits, very seriously. Also, worldwide news is reporting that Meghan’s co-stars are
invited to the May 19 wedding. Awkward? We shall see.

This could get a little weird. Plus, with both weddings televised, criticism and praise could be
co-mingled to the point of which one are we talking about anyway? And how do we feel about
our Meghan wearing another a wedding dress before her wedding to her Prince?

Here’s what we think. The genial Prince Harry, on his white horse, and in princely fashion, is
supporting his soon to be wife. His royal power alone would diffuse any situation and, on top of
it, love conquers all. Our Harry will take care of her, and them, and anyone and everyone will
live happily ever after.

So there was actually a third wedding to consider here: Eugenie and Jack’s. That is Princess
Eugenie, the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson and her fiance, Jack Brooksbank.
So more royal excitement has come forth since this engagement.

Oh, oh. Trouble in the United Kingdom. Who doesn’t at least think about a summer wedding,
or maybe being a June bride? Jack and Eugenie announced they would be married in June
which, uh, was a month after Harry and Meghan.

Well, they are now getting married in September. Wondering who made that decision? The
official word is that because both couples are to be married at St George's Chapel at Windsor
Castle the weddings were just too close together.

Can you imagine, if a discussion occurred between Meghan and Eugenie what might have been
said? After all, Eugenie is Sarah’s daughter and they are both, shall we say, high spirited. If I
were Meghan, I would simply have said, “we announced first,” and let it be. Who knows, but it is
fun to speculate.

No matter how we imagine it, it is a busy time for Meghan to say the least.
